I paid 170 for an emergency callout, for an engineer to come for less than 5 minutes and tell me he needs a "permanent ladder" to the loft, even though combination ladder was in place (there is a floor and light in the loft as well). You would think Go assist would give me my money back, because THEY didn't ask if there is a permanent ladder in place and because NOTHING was done or fixed. Nope, they absolutely refuse to pay me back, said the engineer charged them money and there's nothing they can do. Avoid at all cost. Terrible service. I am stuck with a broken boiler and they STOLE my money. Services: Heating system installation, Heating system repair, Water heater repair

COWBOY FIRM! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL COMPANY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The reviews speak for themselves. Paid this company £135 over the phone to repair a radiator valve which was weeping. The so called engineer haha, hadn’t even come across the valve which needed replacing, & all that was done was a quick 10 min BOJ job with some thread seal tape & was told if it carried on weeping, I was to call them back & they would have to change the valve. On this call back I was told it would be another £200 charge to come back! £135 up the ribs & still have a weeping valve! PLEASE read the reviews before committing to use this company! Very bad experience. Be careful there are bunch of thieves they take your money over the phone they don’t provide the service and on top of all that, they know very well what they’re doing to scam you. They don’t care about consumer right at all. Almost 1 year later, still sending me emails and the advert please leave me alone. I don’t need you to send me emails. I went online to get a quote for a dishwasher repair and not only the quote that came back was over 100£ more expensive than the other 2 companies I checked but in the two days since I filled in the form I have recieved 6 or 7 emails, a bunch of text messages and even a phone call to follow up. The phone call came a couple hours after I filled in the form and I made it clear I had gone elsewhere AND I AM STILL GETTING BOMBARDED. I don’t know what their service is like but be warned that they pester potential customers like I have never seen before

Engineer arrived , scratched the back plinth on the range cooker by dropping it on the floor . Told me I needed a new controller and it would be 28days . This is up in two days and I still don't have a date for them to return . Very poor communication and it seems when I speak to the engineer he can't really be arsed ... Just think twice before you hand over your money , if your desperate then go for it and good luck ...... Service: Oven repair
