Glyn quoted competitively to remove an existing patio and path and then lay porcelain tiles edged in brick. He was initially able to come up with several useful suggestions for the layout and it was clear that he new what he was talking about. He had no problem adjusting the design as he went along and the result is excellent. Glyn and Matthew were punctual, hard working and creative. I would recommend their work. Glyn and Matthew laid block paving and indian stone to all four sides of our property. They did an excellent job. Glyn was able to offer good ideas throughout that improved the final appearance of the work. Additional work such as removing large shrubs and adding fence panels were undertaken as the project progressed saving the need to get other workmen back after the work had been completed. 100% recommend.

Glyn and his team recently laid a new patio and built a front garden wall for us. They worked hard for 4 days and completed in the time they said. It wasn't too disruptive as it was outdoors. I booked Mr Evans back in February, to commence work in September. He came highly recommended by Master Craftsman & the company who i wanted the flags to come from (Talasey) He arrived on a Friday morning, removed all the existing flags,& by the time i left to go out at lunch time hw was ready to start laying the (new) Indian stone. When I returned later I asked why the flags were uneven, he said i should have bought ceramic tiles!!By Tuesday lunch he was finnished. All I wanted was him off my land. I have since contacted Master Craftsman & Talasey with my complaint & am waiting for a reply.

Glyn was great. Initially it was a long wait for him to start, but I got a call to ask if he could bring it forward by a few weeks. I'm so glad I waited for him and didn't go with someone else that was available straight away. The job was to extend the patio from my house to the garden office - around 35sqm - and took roughly two days. Fantastic service. Efficient, good quality, tidy and a reasonable price too. He always got back to me, good communication on what would happen from start to finish and was very happy to give advice for long-term care of the patio. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately my experience of Glyn Evans has been terrible. I employed him to carry out approximately 24m2 of flagging, 2 paths and an extension to a gazebo area. The paths were already dug out and partially stones up and the gazebo area had been filled in with stone. Mr Evans charged £2400 to complete the levelling of the areas, compact and lay the flags, of which I provided around 12m2. This work took him 1 day with 2 men and half a Saturday with 1 man. I foolishly paid him in full without checking the work with him. Once he had gone I checked over the work and there were a number of problems. I let them go but over the next couple of weeks the problems increased. Some of the flags sunk, others moved laterally, little bits he placed at the edges became lose. water was puddling as he had not used a string line to level the path. I have since tried to get him back to undertake the remedials which are numerous, but I get no response. I would not recommend this mans work.
