Disappointing and rude service when Engagement ring shopping. The owner was nice to me and my partner initially, but after telling him my budget for engagement ring was approx £2,000, he instantly was very rude and condescending. He called a diamond shop in London, asking them for prices for certain stones. It was embarrassing initially because he told them where he was calling from like they were supposed to know who he was, and clearly had no idea. He then got a calculator out and started showing me figures like 3.8k, 4.2k, 5.3k, and started saying "that's just the stone" and all of them were SI2 diamonds, hardly top notch stones. Trying to shame me into not being able to afford an expensive ring. The owner was clearly not happy to have my business when he found out I wasn't made of money and I found the experience very demeaning. I was very upfront about how much money I had to spend from the get go, and the shop doesn't present as a high end store from the outside. I hardly ever write google reviews, but found the owner was so rude, It's worth warning others of what they might expect.

Great service. I went in for a watch bracelet resize, for a kind of bracelet type he told me he doesn’t do. Without me even asking, he did it anyway in 2 minutes and was half the price of another watch repair shop formerly in town, who used to keep my watches for weeks for the same thing. Highly recommended - very competent, confident, friendly and helpful.

He talked me through the repair process, opened up the watch to take an initial look and charged a reasonable price. I thoroughly recommend Glow Jewellers and am so pleased to have found a reputable, independent watch shop and jeweller in Dorking.

Second to none service! Friendly and really knowledgeable. My H bought a ring for me as an Easter gift. It had to be upsized. The job was done within the stated time frame, and it was done really well. It fits perfectly. The ring is absolutely beautiful. The design is astounding - I've never seen anything like it! I would absolutely recommend Glow to anyone looking for jewllery that's beautiful, comfortable and unique.

Thought my ring would have been perfect by now, given the problems had previously and in the first instance that the ring broke overnight. Repaired - as you promised - then broken again, despite a different design and one of your own making, yet again - not mine! Another two precious moments of being proposed to ruined. I did have serious doubts as I am sure that you will appreciate once the ring was put on my finger for the second time and yet again - did not come with a certificate for insurance purposes - 2nd time - despite my asking you. I only wish that my partner had kept the brown cash envelope that you provided the original ring in before all of this sorry mess, because it most certainly stated that a diamond was contained within the ring, along with a further breakdown of all the other materials used, due to this fact alone, I had it inspected and valued with a jeweller unbeknown to myself, for a fair appraisal - precious time out of my day. Thank you for the diamond Pedro, turns out it was only a Cubic Zirconia. It won't be third time lucky unfortunately. I want my money refunded ASAP!!! I do have detailed letter from the initial jeweller I took it too to be evaluated and if needs be, I will do so once more to a further one. You have truly, truly ruined my special moment for both myself and my partner, twice over. Shame on you!! If I had the ring to hand I would post pictures of the poor soldering and all the other faults. I am so extremely upset, I cannot begin to describe to you and especially after we gave you benefit of the doubt and to say that there was a diamond in there, which wasn't, just makes me even more upset.
