I have mixed feelings. Everyone is so friendly and was very easy getting boots etc.(even though we were not offered helmets) . HOWEVER, my boyfriend was very inexperienced which we made very clear, we had paid for a 1 hour private lesson and it felt very rushed. We were not taught how to do certain exercises (for example snow ploughing) we were just told to do it. As a result my boyfriend had a very bad fall and has come away with a very sore and bruised hip which meant he could not finish the lesson. Now, I know skiing can cause injuries but in this instance I felt like it could have been avoided if we were shown properly. I cannot speak for all instructors but the young lad we had is a very good skier but could work on his teaching skills.

1st Gotherington Scouts had a great time tonight. A taster session for the novices and a more advanced lesson for those more experienced. Was booked at short notice, the reception staff were most helpful and accommodating. The instructors were awesome. Many thanks to the Ski centre!
