Unprofessional handling of the ongoing hacking of the website. Council decision to not send ctax reminder and go escalate to court orders without even contacting the residents is disgusting and is complete contradiction of council equality policy putting vulnerable residents at risk of further mental health issues at a time of cost of living crisis. No due care to their residents or their welfare and further negligence whereby not adhering to their own constitution, no support or advice to residents. Contacting council is an impossible task no walk ins no answer to emails after 28 days no appt offered waiting on phone on hold over an hour. Councillors not prepared to assist their residents. Yet council wants to he more transparent open and honest. Failing of their own administration procedures and passed buck onto residents in usual unprofessional and unlawful ways. Constitution should be available to residents but only copy is impossible to download off website due to size of document and website out of use for over 2 years. D

The online 'MyGloucester' portal which they constantly encourage is a complete travesty & provides nothing apart from take council tax payments - What a surprise ! The phone system is full of excuses about how over-worked, covid, lots of calls, etc & negative advice ! Basically no-one ever available, no-one wants to help or knows/cares how to help & excuses/justifications as to why we dont provide any customer services !

Gloucester City Council are a joke there benefit team are no help what so ever, they don't get back to you when you ring them instead they say send a email and we will get around to it leaving me to pay the arrears which I am struggling to do. For the bulky goods when I rang to ask if they can take some bulky goods away there reply was we can do in two weeks and in the mean time the items stay in the hallway for two weeks.

Reported a dog waste bin that had not been emptied for at least a fortnight. When I reported it the lady seemed more interested in taking my details, full name, address, phone number etc. than the issue of the bin. Over a week later and the bin has still not been emptied, waste is piling up all around it which is not very pleasant in this hot weather. I tried to call a few times today... last attempt at 09.15 but message says offices are closed... hours of work are 09.00 to 05.00 Monday to Friday. What a joke!!
