I went to this coffee shop and it was rather terrible, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. To start with, the coffee was terrible - it tasted bitter and burnt. The wait staff was extremely rude and unaccommodating, making it difficult to even place our order. Once we were seated, we noticed that the tables were disgustingly sticky. It was as if they hadn't been cleaned in ages. It was extremely off-putting, and we had to constantly watch our belongings to make sure nothing got stuck to the table. Overall, it was an incredibly unpleasant experience. The bad coffee, rude staff, and dirty tables made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend this coffee shop to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Visited once but never again, it was not a pleasant experience. To begin with, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, mainly due to the fact that the coffee shop was placed in an awkward location. The constant stream of shoppers passing by made it feel hectic and noisy, and we were unable to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee. To add to that, the cashier was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Their attitude was abrupt and it felt like they were rushing us to place our order. It made the whole experience quite unpleasant, and we couldn't wait to finish our coffee and leave. All in all, I would not recommend this coffee shop. The uncomfortable atmosphere and the rude attitude of the cashier made for a negative experience. I don't think I'll be visiting this place again.

After the unpleasant experience of the dripping coffee and the rude staff member, we decided to order some pastries to accompany our drinks. However, when they arrived, they were stale and had clearly been sitting out for quite some time. We brought this to the attention of another staff member, but they simply shrugged and offered no solution. To make matters worse, the seating was uncomfortable, and the atmosphere was quite loud and chaotic. The tables were also quite dirty and had not been properly cleaned, making the overall experience even more unpleasant.I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The poor quality of the coffee and pastries, combined with the rude and unhelpful staff, uncomfortable seating, and unclean tables, make for an altogether unpleasant experience.

Popped into Gloria Jeans on my way to work Saturday, being easter bank holiday I expected it to be busy which is was (unsurprisingly). The service was as fantastic as always, cake selections were incredible and the staff were even giving out free samples of new stock for customers to try. Presentation, customer service, selection, always 5 star. All staff should be proud for the hard work they put in. If you haven’t had a coffee from here, I suggest you go and try one as you won’t look back!

Sometime last Tuesday I had come in and ordered a coffee to drink in, when the coffee was delivered from one side it seemed to have been leaking a little. Very poor presentation. I was sitting not for long until I began to realise the lady on shift kept giving me a funny look, i was only there for 15 mins and I had to leave due to the uncomfortable atmosphere I could feel. I highly would not recommend. Other coffee shops in merryhill give a very different bubbly experience.
