    My Globe-Trotter suitcase truly exceeded my expectations, which were already very high to begin with. The design itself is unique and absolutely stunning; the case turns heads wherever I bring it and it’s not common to have bypassers stop and ask me about it. It’s minimalistic yet spacious and offers plenty of room for storage. For aesthetic reasons, I went with the Large Safari Suitcase in ivory which lacked a telescopic trolley handle, and instead added a so-called magic handle in hopes of making maneuvering easier. This is the only thing that made me disappointed. While the magic handle does in fact improve maneuvering a little bit, I can’t help but wish the handle would’ve been at least 5-10 centimeters longer. I’m 177 centimeters tall and have to either take awkwardly small steps as I drag it after me or drag the two-wheeled suitcase parallel with me as I walk, or there’s a very big risk of me kicking it as I walk (which has already left some marks on the leather parts that, sadly, I’m unable to get rid of). This is far from ergonomic and puts a lot of pressure on my back, shoulders and arms resulting in soreness and fatigue. Aesthetics are very important to me but if I’d known that spending an additional £125 on a magic handle wouldn’t be as functional as I had hoped, I probably would’ve gone ahead and bought one if the suitcases that features a telescopic trolley handle instead. I would definitely recommend people considering purchasing a Globe-Trotter suitcase to do so. I’ve equipped mine with a ReboundTAG as well as an AirTag (the latter hidden on the inside) to keep track of it while traveling. This has worked well for me so far. I’m very much looking forward to adding an attaché and carry-on to my little collection in the future, for daily use, hand luggage and shorter trips. Every other bag on the market just feels inadequate now so I doubt I’ll ever switch back to another brand!
