We had an awesome time learning to surf with Steve and Jacob. They were both very clear and concise in their instructions and gave us a great introduction to surfing and how to surf safely without bogging the lesson down with too much technical information. Both instructors watched us on the water and provided personalized tuition to help us improve our techniques, as well as loads of encouragement and support. We had amazing weather and great conditions, felt super safe and Global Boarders provided great quality kit. Thank you guys!

We had a fantastic time coasteering with Chris at Mousehole this April. He was super chilled and friendly whilst very helpful and informative. The kit he lent us was nice and warm and we had an awesome 2 hrs flinging ourselves in the sea and laughing. Can’t recommend enough!

Our team took part in a beginner surf session with Chris at Global Boarders, we had such a great time and really gained confidence in the sea (while being able to laugh at ourselves for the inevitable wipeouts!). The lesson was the perfect duration and we learnt so much about the sea and the fundamentals to surfing, while still having a lot of time in the water 'having a go'. Would definitely recommend!

Epic surf school. You have to try it. My partner and I wanted to try our hand at surfing and Global Boarders were perfect! We had different instructors each day, but we loved learning little tips and tricks from each one. We were standing up by the end of lesson one and learning other skills by day two. The squad that work here are awesome and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Safe to say we will be back to hit some more waves. An absolute must if you want to try something new or if you’re just visiting Cornwall! Thank you Chris, Michelle and Jacob for teaching us all you know.

We signed up for two lessons with Global Boarders a couple weeks ago. Our coach, Archie, was excellent: very helpful and positive. However, we were very disappointed that Archie was on his own coaching 8-10 beginners, including several kids. Our second lesson was on an extremely windy day, when it was difficult to manage the surf boards, and Archie was still on his own coaching us. Given that this is one of the more expensive surf schools around, I don't understand why they didn't have more coaches for the lessons.

We had a great lesson yesterday, we were both a bit nervous as we'd never surfed before. But Steve was fantastic; talked us through the sea and wind conditions and technique before we got in the water and we both managed to stand up by the end of the lesson! Thanks Steve! My son and I had a 2-to-1 beginners surf lesson yesterday at Gwithian Beach with Fin. Information pre-lesson was prompt and easy to understand, lesson itself was equally professional and Fin was brilliant, calm and managed to get us standing up on the board pretty quickly, even if one of us (me!) was not that stylish. Was fantastic fun at great value, well recommended.
