Absolutely shocking! My husband recently purchased something and its condition is atrocious! Supposedly passed their electrical tests - I’ve no idea how when one of the plug pins was missing! Will not use again and suggest others steer clear.

Stay well clear of this company, because you'll end up paying more for your item, than you would buying it new from a reputable store. Absolutely disgusted with the amount of separate charges they put on the invoice at the end of the auction. If you need further proof? Go on to trust pilot and read the reviews people have left about there experience dealing with this company.

To be honest didnt read reviews on this company before bidding, but I did make sure I read all instructions and terms. it all went perfectly from start to finish. The customer service was fantastic when I had a query about collection, the reception/warehouse staff were brilliant on collection and I love my purchases.

I started bidding 5 weeks ago, took a couple of goes to understand the description and what to and not to expect. I must say, I love it! I bid twice a week. If you treat the staff with kindness and respect, they will treat you the same. Some people have too high expectations of the goods they bid for. 80% of my items are perfect and exactly what I expected, 20% have slight faults but if you don’t have the time to go and inspect the items before you bid (like me) then that’s the chance you take. Overall, I am so happy to have found this little gem of a place and will continue bidding x

An unscrupulous and unprofessional company in my opinion. I bought 3 factory sealed barbecue side tables and because they were factory sealed I couldn't see inside the box so trusted the photo on their online auction website. However, my purchase turned out to be a completely different item than the one in the description, a complete misrepresentation of goods but was refused a refund as apparently I should have checked them before leaving the premises, but how when they were factory sealed was this possible? There was a small cartoon like picture on the side of the box that I didn't notice but the blame was still laid at my feet for not spotting it and not at the employees for not spotting it either, therefore uploading the wrong photos. I asked to see the boss but the coward wouldn't come out and talk to me, instead letting a member of staff do the dirty work. The employee who uploaded the photos for my items clearly made an advertising mistake and I've had to pay for their mistake with unwanted goods. So it transpires that if I purchase a factory sealed TV, and there is a photo of a TV in the description, then upon opening the box it turns out to be a rowing machine, apparently its my fault for not opening the box. They actually confirmed that when I put it to them! Needless to say there was no gesture of goodwill to refund me, they simply didn't give a toss. They don't return phone calls or emails - customer service is appalling. It just isn't an ethical way to do business if you have to watch your back at every twist and turn in order to not get scammed by their misleading tactics. If you cant trust the people with whom you're spending money then it's time to call it a day. It has to be said though that some of the staff in the warehouse are very nice, its company policy which fails the customer along with an unreliable uploader of auction photos. On a final note, I was also falsely accused for the second time of not collecting my purchases and so a charge of £25 per day for storage would be incurred. (Very sloppy accounting.) Goodbye Global Auctioneers, I won't deal with a clown of a company who has no respect for its customers.
