Nice site, meticulously neat and tidy. Shower/toilet block spotlessly clean. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you Gemma.

This site is clearly based on if your face fits and judged on what you look like. There's nothing on site but shower block, nowhere to walk close by and the owner is in your business daily. Would definitely NOT recommend to anyone.

My partner and I, moved onto Glenfield Caravan Park, 2 years ago. If you are to stay at the park for a short time then all well and good. However, approximately 2 years ago, when we first moved on there was no issue with motorcycles, we even visited the site before moving there, on our bikes. We were also told when we moved onto the site, that no vans were allowed, there was to be no parking on the grass and my partners motorbike, she uses for commuting, had to be parked at reception, due to it being started sometimes in the morning. The motorcycle exhaust is around 80db with a baffle fitted, the noise of a vehicle moving on the gravel around the site is about 82db!! We conformed to all of Gemma’s rules and parked my partners bike there, did not buy a van and didn’t park on the grass, unless absolutely necessary. Gemma seems to make up her own rules whenever it suits. Gemma uses her lawnmower at in considerate times, as residents work shifts and is 105db, also kicks up grass which is not picked up and managed after cutting. Then the grass gets into the living areas and the storage boxes, of which, Gemma tells you to have and expects you to install them yourself. Gemma, told us, that our area was untidy, when other residents have had their scattered belongings around their pitch and the side of reception was in tatters. I was once asked to move my car and then squared up to by Gemma’s fiancé and ordered that it was to be removed from the reception area within 5 minutes. Mail has gone missing that has been signed for by Gemma etc, etc…. During our stay, we did not play loud music, drink, take drugs, or make a fuss about anything around the site, it was all fine and dandy in the beginning. I’m sure if you are to stay short term at the site, you will have a nice time. The site is well kept and the staff there, do an excellent job. This is just our experience and sadly it is one not to be repeated.

1st time here and the last night of a 3 night stay. What can we say? We've been enough lucky enough to stay at some amazing sites in our motorhome over the years, but apart from the fabulous location of this site, the thing that sets it aside from many others is Gemma the owner. From a seamless booking, locating and arrival to the uber friendliness of the lady herself. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble when it comes to helping her guests. We came to see Michael Bublé at Harewood House which is only a short drive away, Gemma's advise and knowledge of Harewood made a fantastic night for us. The site is near many local points of interest such as Emmerdale, obviously Harewood House and England's oldest Inn. Definitely one to visit.

As others have said, an immaculate site and Gemma is enthusiasm personified. However, the “keep off the grass” notices are a bit off-putting, and there is really nowhere to walk a dog without getting in your car.
