  I attended a 8-week makeup course at Glauca Rossi makeup school “Jan 2022” and it was a truly transformative experience. As a beginner in makeup, I was impressed with the level of detail covered in the syllabus and the start kit provided by the school. The head tutor, Azzurra, was an exceptional teacher who not only had a wealth of knowledge, but also had a positive and friendly personality that made learning a joy. Her lessons were delivered in an inspiring, informative and engaging way, and she was always available to answer questions and provide support to every student. Azzurra was attentive to each student's needs and provided personalized feedback and corrections throughout the course. The founder of the school, Glauca, was also highly involved in motivating and guiding the students, and provided a welcoming and approachable environment. One of the highlights of the course was the professional photo shoot with models, which gave me the opportunity to apply what I learned in a real-world setting and build my portfolio, during which Azzurra was present to guide and direct.   I studied at Glauca Rossi Shool of Makeup in 2022, I chose this school from the advise of the biggest makeup artist from my country after I asked him where is the best to study in London, choosing Glauca Rossi was the best decision I made so far. The support you get after school, the knowledges I gain during the 8 weeks course and the confidence in myself truly made me to change the perspective about myself. The portfolio you get after the course is very helpful for my career to start. After the course i got so many contact to help me get a job or to build my portfolio, exactly what you need after a makeup course. I highly recommend this course if you want to get into the industry in the right way!

  Hello, I graduated in a 12-week course from Glauca Rossi in 2022. I did a lot of research before I chose to join Glauca Rossi. Every result and review, on the internet, wrote that the school topped the charts in its field. I am happy to admit the reviews were right. After having completed the course I am contended to add to the chain so as to say joining Glauca was not just training to become a makeup artist but is definitely an investment. Just to say the least one walks away with a vast knowledge of makeup application and is equipped to work in the professional field. I had the privilege to learn from Miss Azzura Bonaldo. She is an inspiration herself, truly an absolutely brilliant artist to learn from. Watching her demonstrate how to create a look used to be incredible. Her work is impeccable and meticulously neat; her eye for precision demonstrates scintillating aesthetics that would leave an observer inspired to achieve her merit of work. Azzura as a teacher was strict when it came to preparing us for the world of fashion. She'd be brutally honest if she didn't like the work, or if there was something missing or wrong. Beyond that, she is a sweetheart who'd happily glam me up if I had a night out with friends. She is an incredible artist, it was fascinating to watch her absorbed in creating an undeniably beautiful look on me- effortlessly. She has magic in her hands, and I aim to have the same in my work. The course is perfect for a beginner and anyone who is interested to polish their skills for the world of fashion or glam. When I joined I was someone with scarce to zilch knowledge of makeup. I didn't even know what fashion makeup was or what period looks were. Also, whatever I knew about makeup, after joining the school I realised equated to nothing. To be honest, primarily, most of my knowledge of makeup came from watching tutorials on Instagram and YouTube. Definitely, it was a challenge for me to start from scratch. By the grace of God, I can now, after completing my degree and working as a professional, graciously confess to being equipped with everything that a professional makeup artist must know to work in the field. Yet I continue to learn every day. This achievement is accomplished with the help of my most patient teacher Azzura and the guidance of Glauca. Azzura would explain to me a simple method provided with reasons and logic of why and how something was being done. Basically not just the technique but the science behind it too. I walked out of Glauca Rossi as a confident and proud makeup artist, trained by the best of the best in the industry. I can see why the school carries a commendable reputation in its field, it is because Glauca Rossi is not just a school of makeup it is an industry that prepares its students with professionalism that is unmatched in its field. Including, tidiness and hygiene of work. I really admire that even though I have finished my course, sometimes when I want a second opinion I would slide a message to Azzura, and she without a frown responds back immediately. Sometimes, it is not what I want to hear but it is exactly what I should be doing- that is delivering my top skills!

  Glauca Rossi School was one of the best decisions i have ever made in order to pave my way to success in the Fashion & Makeup Industry. When i began my training I honestly never knew I’d be this ecstatic to wake up in the morning, knowing that in 8 weeks time my life would change with all the skills i was taught by Azzurra. I would publicly and openly like to express my deepest gratitude for Azzurra. She has been an excellent friend, teacher, mentor and a great inspiration for me. She has inspired me to persue my goals with hard work and dedication. I truly appreciate and value everything i have learned from her, it will forever remain a major contributor behind my success and achievements.   I attended Glauca Rossi School of Makeup in January 2022 and completed the 8 week Fashion Makeup course. Whilst deciding which makeup school was best suited to me, Glauca was extremely patient and kind when answering all my questions, and I felt well informed when making the decision. Upon arrival, a makeup kit is provided for you on the longer courses, equipping you with the essentials that you will need for this journey. The size of the classes are small which allow each student to have sufficient 1-on-1 time with the teacher. During the course, you learn about all the aspects of fashion and glam makeup as well as a variety of period looks too. At the end of the course, you also get the opportunity to experience photoshoots with professional photographers, thus providing a good foundation for your portfolio. My experience would not have been complete without the head tutor, Azzurra. Not only is she an accomplished artist, but she’s also an incredibly kind teacher. Her patience, encouragement and passion have helped to transform my skills and have moulded me into the artist I am today. Once the course has finished, you are not just pushed out into the real world empty handed. The school provides a wide array of contacts to help you find your feet in the field. Azzurra also encourages you to come back and practice before any event/shoot, so even once you’ve finished the course, their support will always be there. I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn more about makeup. It was a truly incredible experience and I’m so grateful to everyone who was a part of my journey at the school.

  I attended the school at the end of 2020, I did the 12 week course and I have to say it was the best decision I made. I went to school not really knowing what I wanted to do and with the help of the head teacher Azzura left knowing my style and with mass confidence in myself. You learn so much about makeup and the fashion industry and the big scale photoshoots at the end make have a great understanding of what you will be doing moving forward from the school. It’s such an incredible experience and I recommend it everyone looking to learn about makeup. Azzura also encourages coming back once you’ve finished to practice before shoots to make sure you’re nurtured as you into the industry by yourself.

Students are also multinational and will broaden your values ​​and horizons. In side the school,it's sufficient cleanliness and lovely place.I didn't get stress about covid-19 at all when I practiced makeup at school. I definitely know you can have great experience here, good luck!! I will be traveling to the UK in September 2021 for a 12 week course. Of course, there were students from all over the world, so it was very multinational. I had never attended a beauty school in Japan and this was the first time I started my makeup career. Classes do not have any extra time such as classroom lectures like Japanese schools. Practice from the first day! Practice! Practice! So, although the class itself is short at 12 weeks, I think the intensity is more than half a year. All the other students are around 20 years old and already have careers in their home countries, and most of them are here to advance their careers. The teacher is a graduate of this school, has a career in fashion week and magazines, and above all, a wonderful person who pays the utmost attention, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility to students. Being surrounded by such talented people and being able to learn advanced skills every day, I don't think I've ever been so blessed.   Attending the 12-weeks course during the 2021 Autumn was the best decision I’ve ever made. This course has fundamentally elevated my skills and insights as a competent make-up artist. I highly recommend anyone, whether you are a complete beginner or have some experiences beforehand, to attend this transformative course. The course is designed with each individual students’ need in heart by utilising compact class size and comprehensive curriculum. You will be equipped with a basic make-up kit to kick start your journey. You will learn about various looks and styles, from the 1920s to the most recent trends; and encounter different skin colours and types, facial features and characteristics. You will have chances to learn with your peers as well as shooting with professional photographers and models to build up your portfolio. You will develop a professional mindset and observational skills to create the best looking make-up under a camera. There are so many opportunities for you to learn and excel as a make-up artist in a short amount of time, and I wish the course could’ve been longer so I can spend more time with my lovely tutor Azzurra. Azzurra is a very professional and caring tutor who has been supporting my studies every step of the way. She was very patient with our questions and always assisted us to give our best to achieve professional standards. She encouraged us to express our creative ideas and to develop a diversified profile on different styles.   I attended Glauca Rossi School of Makeup in April 2021, where I studied the 12 Week Fashion Makeup course. Since first visiting Glauca and the school back in 2017, I knew straight away that I couldn’t picture myself studying anywhere else. The small intimate class sizes ensure all students get the full attention and guidance from the teacher, which is what initially attracted me to the school. The school also has a long list of extremely talented and successful past students, and having now studied at the school I can understand why. There are not many people that you meet that leave a mark in your life, but Azzurra is one of mine. Being taught by Azzurra, the head tutor at the school, was an absolute pleasure. She is such a talented artist and teacher, and pushes you to reach your full potential. Her knowledge and experience is extremely evident, and she was able to adapt her teaching to fit an individuals needs. The improvements and growth I saw both within myself as an individual and as an artist, especially in such a short time, were incredible, and that’s all down to her. I felt extremely comfortable and cared for by both Azzurra, Glauca and the fellow students, which made the experience even more memorable. The course itself is everything you need to train as a working makeup artist. You get to learn a range of skills within both fashion and glam makeup, as well as the study of period looks from 1920s- present. You also get to experience photoshoots with professional photographers, which make a great addition to the building of your portfolio. A makeup kit is also provided for you on the longer courses, which ensures you have the essentials to begin training as an artist. If you’re serious about making it in the industry, this is the place to be. I will be forever grateful for my time at Glauca Rossi and I’m excited for what’s to come.
