This week I had such a pleasant experience with the staff at GJ Auto Repair that I felt I must leave a review because they really looked after me. I’m from Ireland and I have my car over in England with me while I visit the country and earlier in the week my bonnet wouldn’t close as there was a problem with the mechanism and as a result my car would not lock. I don’t know any mechanics in Manchester as my mechanic lives back home so I called into GJ Auto Repair completely by chance. Call it the luck of the Irish if you wish but I couldn’t have found a better place to have my car problems resolved. The staff were so friendly and were able to locate the problem and fix it in such a short space of time. GJ was recommended to me by a friend and I am so happy I took his advice. I was involved in a motorway incident and this resulted in me requiring a new bumper, axle repair, 2 new wheels, spray etc As they came so highly recommended I asked them to do the whole car as I had some other minor scrapes on one side, front bumper etc and my alloys were horrendous (my fault unfortunately). I collected my car on Friday and I am still smiling, she looks like brand new, the paintwork is fantastic and the alloys are amazing. I honestly cannot recommend this garage highly enough. Not only have they surpassed my expectations with the work that James has carried out but also the communication from Sophie was brilliant. She totally went the extra mile to help me with my insurance company who were to be honest unhelpful to say the least. 5 stars across the board from me. I am really happy that I was referred to GJ Auto Repair Centre by Renovo after my car was hit from behind putting a dent in the bumper. Communication with Sophie and James was excellent, letting me know what the process was and providing updates along the way. On the day I took the car in I arrived well before opening time just to beat the traffic. As it happened by coincidence James had turned up earlier than usual. In his usual cheerful way he took the keys and explained the next steps. The next day I got a call that the car was ready. The workmanship was excellent and the car looked immaculate. Needless to say, if I ever need bodywork doing, I know where to go.
