I dont know what's wrong with this place. Everytime I go I get a huge beef pasty for 6.95 that actually has real beef in it. The chicken and mushroom pasty is full of chicken, and the delicious lamb and spices sausage roll is actually beautifully spiced with lamb mince that tastes of lamb. This is a rarity for London.

Beware booking Butchery classes here. Despite having vouchers for any course, they charged me an additional £120. They have since recognised their mistake, authorised a refund and I've been waiting for it for almost 2 months despite speaking on the phone and emailing multiple times.

I went to one of The Ginger Pig's butchery courses (beef) and it was great. First 30 mins is a talk about Ginger Pig and where they source their meat before there is a hands on demonstration of breaking down a cow where they explain the different cuts and what to look for when buying from a butcher. After that, you get a big old lump of aged fore rib to prepare and take home (mine weighed 2.7kg!). One you are finished with that, you get cleaned up and they bring out a feast of roast beef, potato dauphinoise, salad and bottles of wine. Great value and a 10/10.
