AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They take no responsibility for massively over charging on my property and the customer support I have received from 2 different operators was uncaring, dismissive and in no way helpful.

If you are a tenant who has received a bill from this "Ginger Energy", you must know that it may not be your bill. The company may have been hired by your landlord to recalculate the gas bills of the tenants, and the recalculated gas price completely exceeds what the tenants need to pay. Tenants must request a unit price breakdown so you know what is included in the unit price. Then use your lease agreement to determine what part of the price goes to the tenant and what doesn't.

Speaking from experience from Lydney Harbour, this lot advised the landlord on energy prices, it seems the price increased 400%. That’s what happens when you get three piece suit with gel in the hair consultants to advise and don’t have clue what going on. One star is to much should be “zero”.

This company is disgusting, charging me and the people that live in my building £1000 a month as they know we can’t change provider as we live in a building only they supply

What should I say? The usual gas price is no more than 10p/Kwh, but Ginger charges me more than 25.82p/Kwh, not speaking of 45p/day fixed charge. If you complaint, it will say 'this is because you use heat networks and there's no energy cap', you guys really know how to exploit the law :)

Blackmailing tenants to pay energy bills without a legal contract in place that would give right to landlords to pass down any bills to tenants. "Late payment charges" that are nowhere stated or confirmed in writing in terms and conditions at all. Ignoring emails... Dodging phone call and provision of proper information. Disgusting....

I strongly believe that this company has the worst customor serviece systems in the UK. I have a significant issue with my bills and sent several emails and called them to talk to thier manager, but for about one month I coudnt recive any response from them. More over, I couldnt use 400 pound governmantal support on my electricity bills because Ginger Energy is not a licencesd energy provider for our complex for private wire supply and they are so inresponsible in customer serviece rules and regulations and just care about thirer income from bills even manual reading mistakes!I am so sorry for top level managment systems in this company that affects their reputations. They just issue bills based on thier benefits. Please check energy provider company firstly before renting the appartmet unless you want to waste your time and money with this company.
