FAQ

What type of items do you accept as donations?

At Gillingham Street Angels Charity Shop, we accept a wide range of donations, including clothing, shoes, accessories, books, toys, and household items. We also accept donations of non-perishable food items for our food bank.

Can you provide examples of successful cases in which your company helped a homeless individual or family?

We have helped numerous homeless individuals and families over the years. One recent example is a family of four who were struggling to make ends meet due to job loss. We provided them with food, clothing, and household items, as well as assistance with finding new employment. Through our support, the family was able to get back on their feet and secure a stable home.

Can you accommodate specific dietary needs or restrictions?

Yes, we strive to accommodate the specific dietary needs and restrictions of those we serve through our food bank and soup kitchen. We offer vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as options for those with other dietary restrictions.

How often can I receive assistance from the food bank?

We do not have a specific limit on how often individuals can receive assistance from our food bank. We understand that circumstances can change and that people may need ongoing support. However, we do encourage individuals to use the food bank responsibly and only when needed, so that we can help as many people as possible.

How can I donate or volunteer at the food bank?

We welcome donations and volunteers at our food bank. Donations can be dropped off during our regular business hours, and volunteers can sign up through our website or by contacting us directly. We appreciate any support that individuals and groups can offer in helping us serve those in need in our community.
