Gillian is a first class practitioner. Within a few sessions, we had the explanations and tools needed to work out a troublesome lisp that was beginning to cause our son some social discomfort. A mix of theory and fun exercises, combined with lots of praise from Gillian gave him the confidence to break out of his habits and conquer the lisp for good. Highly recommended.

My son's speech was not very clear and people found it difficult to understand him. This had a huge impact on his confidence and as a result, he didn't like to speak in front of people if he didn't have to. Gill was excellent in helping him. She identified the sounds he was struggling with and worked through these. By the end, his speech had improved dramatically and he felt far less self conscious. Gill is very approachable and my son enjoyed his sessions with her. She made him feel special and happy - a perfect environment to develop.

Gillian has been working with our son for over a year now following his traumatic brain injury which he sustained in 2015 . He could speak very little and was not able to be understood well by others before he started his sessions with Gill . She has used many different visual aids and strategies and now Olly can say most words and more importantly can be understood by others . Gill is very patient ,calm and understanding , especially when Olly is tired and less engaged . We get an update after each session and also visual aids that are brought home to allow us to continue practising with Olly . I would highly recommend Gill for anyone requiring extra help with speech and language.

Gillian has been working with my daughter for almost two years. The difference we have seen in her is amazing and has helped so much alongside her school work. Gillian will regularly update us as parents and also gives the teachers guidance on areas that my daughter is struggling with and advice on how to help.
