So disappointing. We went here last year and loved it so booked again for my birthday. The wine was good but the most of the food was awful, and the rest mediocre except for the pizza which my husband liked. My son and I had bruschetta to start which was tasteless and just seemed to be tomatoes chopped up on toasted bread with a whole ball of mozzarella cut in 4 and stuck on top. The calamari starter was tough and my risotto was bland and oily and didn’t really have the texture of risotto at all. We were the only people in the restaurant and although it looks really nice we were cold. The person who served us was very nice and efficient and I felt sorry for her as we clearly weren’t enjoying the experience. She did reduce all our mains by 50%, which was a nice gesture

Really disappointed. Lovely decor and staff but food was poor, especially for the price. My dish was lukewarm so had to send back, it lacked flavour and the meat was chewy and dry.

Disappointed! Our previous visit was excellent but this time was really disappointing. Our Main course was very dry and tasteless and the service seemed rushed…..to the point of taking plates before one of our party had finished. The noise and foul language from a private party upstairs was also really off putting.

Rarely have I had such horrible food at an Italian restaurant. The pizza was ok, just ok. The focaccia with mozzarella was very obviously heated from frozen, as it was still cold, nearly frozen in the middle. The Pollo Milanese's pasta was spicy at indian food levels and overcooked to the point of being almost inedible. It wasn't even the enjoyable heat from fresh chilli peppers that complements food, it was a vile spiciness of a lot of chilli flakes overpowering any sense of taste or enjoyment. The chicken was Iceland-grade frozen chicken escalope that they were attempting to pass as gourmet. The ragu was bland and the pasta was overcooked. The Don Gigi seafood pasta was basically pasta Jalfrezi. So very spicy, overpowering any other sense of taste. The Alla Zozzona's pasta was very thick making the texture horrible, the mushrooms were very chunky and chewy and the dish was again bland. We skipped dessert because we decided to spare us from the agony that it would most certainly entail. We felt sorry for the servers that were making honest attempts to try and promote these horrible dishes. We will definitely not be going back.
