Had to write a review about this place. I rang them initially about a Sigma guitar I was interested in. Right from the outset they were great. Courteous and professional. I instantly felt I could trust them. The price was also the best on the internet for the Sigma DTC-28HE I ordered. They promised to check out the set up etc before sending out. Well it came and wow. Its exceeded my expectations. It plays, smells and sound like a Martin. Thanks Rob who was my point of contact and GigGear for providing an excellent service. Will definitely use you guys again. Ian

Needed a hard case for my Epiphone EL-00 parlour style guitar. Hard cases aren't easy to find for this size and all Epiphone ones seem to be on back order with other stockists except with these guys. It's a handsome case and was despatched promptly.

I'd previously bought guitars from Gig Gear way back when it was still a little shop in Hertford, took the trip to Harlow today to visit the shop in its new incarnation and wow! what an amazing space with a great collection of instruments (at good prices), it's great to see the business thriving. I was rather taken by a Fender Jazzmaster (I grew up in the 90's, grunge is still king to me!) which the friendly staff let me demo. The member of staff who spent time with me was great, really attentive, allowed me to test out some other guitars, zero pressure to buy. I've spent a lot of time in guitar shops over the years and always welcome this approach compared to some places which either don't trust you to touch the higher end stuff or massively pressure into buying or getting out. Ultimately having such a good personable experience at Gig Gear is what made me decide to buy the Jazzmaster today. I'm pretty sure that I'll be returning at some point to purchase some more guitars!

sent my classical guitar for refret, email customer service was rude and did not treat me as a customer. After I checked the refret with my own tools and noticed that the frets were not perfectly level, I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested the guitar to be picked up again for a proper levelling. This was sorted out but the employee (or the owner, I don't know who runs the place there) consented with my request with a grudge by saying nonsense such as "I really don't understand your problem. Everyone else says this service is out of the world" or something along these lines. The implication being that I must not be too right in the head and that my own feedback (after spending £220) is absolutely irrelevant. I don't blame the luthier, as any problem was rectified. This negative review is about the customer service person at Gig Gear.

Ordered a guitar case as website said in stock. After a week of waiting I was told that they still didn't have it and would have to wait another week to possibly have it. Guitarguitar had it in stock in Newcastle however, it was cheaper and delivered within 2 working days. Lesson learnt. Don't was your time with giggear.

Nice shop full of great stuff went in to look at electric guitars and treat myself but was put off when I was told don't touch nothing like a child I'm 50 years old and taking my money 💰 elsewhere 👍
