I left the 1-STAR review below a fortnight ago. However since then I've returned three times and the food has been on point delivered swiftly every time. Therefore I'm upping the star rating and putting past experiences down to bad luck. I'll be back! Good morning Mr. Martin, Firstly I would like to congratulate you on your fantastic chain of pubs. Everything about them is perfect. If I eat out - I eat at a wetherspoons. The reason I am emailing you is because The Giddy Bridge in Southampton does not meet the usual wetherspoon standards, not even close. As I write this I am waiting for my breakfast to be delivered to my table. It's already been 40 minutes. I used the app. They're is less than 15 people in here. This kind of wait is regular in here. Whilst the menu is the same as all wetherspoon the food is always, always over cooked. Refried chips seem to be the norm. Fridays steak was served to me blue when asked for medium and the butter was missing for the potato. Tuesdays salad dressing was missing. I ordered drinks the other morning which didn't even arrive. The tomato sauce in the basket I've collected this morning is empty (it's 9.00am) News just in, breakfast is here, it's cold as expected - I'm sending it back. This is the first time ive complained to the staff. Actually this is my first email of complaint, ever. So it demonstrates my exasperation with the place. It routinely makes much l I know you have thousands of pubs but this one is my local and its really disappointing.i don't want to use the other two in Southampton. Newsflash. Second breakfast just arrived. Egg missing. Sausage missing. Bacon stone cold. I've sent it back. So I've now been in here an hour and twenty minutes and still no breakfast. I have to be at work for ten so it looks like this morning I'm going to have to go hungry! Tim, please sort my local pub out.

Fast paced whetherspoon pub for all ages. Especially suited for students. Friendly bar staff. We were served by Paige who ensured everyone was served in order so no one was kept waiting. Excellent customer service, thank you Paige.
