The whole process from our initial visit to the Weybridge shop to the quotation visit, when everything was explained in detail and no pressure applied to order more than than we wanted, to the installation has been excellent and very professional. The installation has been done expertly by Tony and his apprentice, Harry, with great attention to detail and with a willingness to accommodate any requests. Positives: Sales process was well handled - pricing was realistic from the outset, and associated admin was well handled Areas for Improvement: Opportunity to avoid misunderstandings missed at the survey phase. Unhappy with the initial fitting; in fairness to GHI they did send someone out as soon as I published pictures on my earlier Google review, and he fixed those issues that could be addressed immediately and acknowledged other issues were not as they should have been. They have agreed to send someone to fix the other issues in the next few weeks where spare parts are required. Can't pretend that I am a happy/satisfied customer, but I am less unhappy than I would otherwise have been had the issues not been addressed promptly Service: Double pane window installation & replacement

2nd time of using Guild Home Improvements, different fitters from the last time but just as impressed with the end result. Very easy company to deal with, kept informed of a slight delay because of the backlog still being felt by the manufacturers, but worth the wait. The Residence 9 windows I’ve had installed are so realistic to the original Timber windows it’s almost impossible to tell the difference. The only downside to the job are these pesky trickle vents that are now mandatory by law. It’s a slight blip on overall appearance but nothing to do with the Company. I understand the government has implemented the introduction of these vents and unless you have another form of background ventilation you are stuck with having them to pass building regulations. Other than that, couldn’t fault and will use GHI again for any future home improvements. Service: General window replacement

I dealt with someone called Tim (I think) about getting a quote for 3 roof lights, and from that I was going to get a quote for windows and doors (sadly because I dealt with Tim, it didn’t even get to that point). I’m completely remodelling my house and I am spending £40,000 on windows and doors (so a big job!). Tim was so patronising, refused to pronounce my name correctly, used jargon that I explained I didn’t understand and was quite unhelpful. I last spoke to him around 1st August and haven’t heard from him since. He caused his business to lose out on the above job. There are better local companies around who provide better customer service.
