    This is the second time we have been ripped off. A 1.5 mile journey that cost £8.20 turned into £16.40!! No warning up front of a premium. We’re really trapped in Reading with taxis after the black cabs got Uber out. This behaviour is criminal.

    First ride the driver showed up, then let some people on the side of the road jump in his cab and claimed “the app” had cancelled my booking. You’re better off hailing a cab on the side of the road than using Gett.
