So far I have been very happy with the professionalism and the responsiveness from this company. I was a little nervous about shipping my things overseas but Gerson has made the entire process simple and easy. I have been very pleased with the service that I have received so far and will definitely use them again if the need arises. I also wanted to add that the majority of this positive experience is due to Pim. He has been so wonderful throughout this entire process. I would highly recommend him as a move manager for anyone else. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that my items were sent safely and in a timely manner. Overall, just a wonderful experience!

I contracted Gerson to relocate my household items from Switzerland to Scotland in January. If I was writing a review about the quality of the pick up, I wouldn't hesitate to give them five stars as it was flawless and the crews hired were prompt, professional and very friendly (honourable mentions to RB Steele and Dijkshoorn). However I was overall very disappointed with the quality of service offered by Gerson, especially considering they're not cheap. I imagine the way they operate is similar to most international removal companies by consolidating as many loads to and from the same destination as possible to minimise their costs, however this comes at a price as it means as the customer you end up relying on other customers to complete their paperwork (certainly in the case of the UK post Brexit) before your items will be shipped. Because of this and the added complication of inclement weather, we were left waiting an extra two weeks than anticipated until delivery, which meant my family (including small child) moved into our new home without any furniture. While I understand there can be delays, especially due to bad weather, I would have expected a decent company to be able to make contingencies in such an event such as alternative accommodation or compensation for costs incurred, especially when the delivery date is in jeopardy. What made things even more frustrating and gave me such a bad impression was communication was very difficult (our point of contact would often take a day or so to come back to us without answering calls, in spite of the severity of the situation and it was only after a week or so I felt like the penny dropped and she made alternative arrangements) and there was a complete lack of sympathy, understanding or willingness to do anything to help resolve things, apologise or offer some form of compensation (all I have heard is a token "we will look into this" and in spite of my chasing have not heard a peep for over two months, so assume they don't give a fig, which is exactly how I felt throughout my whole experience with them). Like I said maybe in reality Gerson are no worse or better than their competitors, but given how stressful an international move can be I wouldn't say Gerson helped much to make it easier andI would therefore recommend looking elsewhere when moving from country to country (as well as shopping around and making sure you can get some form of guarantees in terms of delivery dates from whoever you chose!). Update on 02/08/2022 - on the back of my review I would have expected someone from the company to contact me, however as of yet three months down the line not a word, not a peep. I think this says everything you need to know about their level of customer service.

Packing, collection and delivery services were very good, but have to raise the issues we had in communication with the UK office. From start to finish we experienced major issues, due to poor communication, and lack of trained staff. Numerous issues, too many to list here, but one example, on the day of delivery our shipment sent to the wrong address. Really disorganised and unprofessional service. I’ve also requested at least twice a quote to relocate our car back to Turkey. No response from relevant department, and not sure I would now have the confidence to go ahead. Would not recommend this company
