    I ordered a shimano reel which was supposedly in stock. Never arrived. So called them and they then said ah yes sorry not in stock they were trying to get it elsewhere but couldn't would refund. Over 6 weeks later still waiting for a refund! Had to call them again said they'd refund.... I would definitely not recommend or shop there again. Let's see if I get refund or if I have to go through the credit card dispute route. Not good customer service. Not a good experience full stop.

    I’m sorry to have to give such a low rating but as a customer I shouldn’t have to chase orders and be told on numerous occasions that they would call me back and never do it’s just bad business! I ordered a rod that said was instock but turns out(after numerous phone calls and zero correspondence from Gerry’s)it either went missing or never existed. Would I recommend these guys sadly not especially when there is other large retailers out their with much better customer services

    Stopped going to the shop over a year ago as their pricing doesn't reflect on what goes on your receipt and what you pay. I purchased over £70 of tackle but when looking at my receipt there were a number of zero cost lines against certain items - with this I emptied all of the tackle that I had bought onto my table and added up all the prices that were attached to each item and found found that they had charged me £8 more than the value of the items. I called the shop to be told that the they had given me discounts on some items and thats why there was zero costs against some items so when I explained that regardless of any discounts I had still paid £8 more and went through all of the price labels that were sat there right in front of me with them - they didn't have an answer other than "oh I think that our Internet pricing has been getting mixed up with with those on the till". I was advised that next time I came in they would knock off £8 but given I'd travelled an hour and a quarter to get there then I wouldn't be going back there anytime soon. I might add its not the first that this had happened. At the till there was one person taking my voucher, another person packing my items and another doing the till and taking payment - rather than one person add it all up then deduct the voucher - no wonder it goes wrong???? I'm not even sure if the voucher amount was actually taken off due to all tje confusion. One of my friends had also in the past been charged a couple of quid extra after adding up the price labels. I would use Veals mail order every day of the week.

    Absolutely rubbish place to shop guys . If you want to save time and a lot of headache just shop somewhere else. I place my order on 22 March and pay for standard delivery ( which is 10-15 days ) and since then I am still waiting and phone them today and they didn't tell me what is happening or what happened with my order. They told me they will call me back but they didn't. Unfortunately I have to wait more. DEFINITELY NOT 🚫🚫🚫 RECOMMENDED . 21 Century to charge for delivery and make customers to wait a month this is SHAME and ridiculous kind of service, oh sorry it's even I can't say is a service . It's a big SHAME.

    If you are looking for fishing tackle this is the best place to get what you need very knowledgeable and helpful staff.if your ordering from the website it's packaged and arrives really fast I've purchased quite a few times and every time it's been easy to place an order can see myself buying again and again from GERRY'S excellent 👍👍
