    It doesn't matter how many times you change the name, one truth remains. The old grammar school did more to enhance the life chances of bright working class boys in the area than any of the pale imitations that followed. Thank you George Dixon Grammar School For Boys. You are sorely missed. But much remembered and appreciated.

    My 11 year old son went to this school and next day asked me for £20 I asked what for he said he wants to buy a vape because all the kids have them in school I went to the school and had a word with the head and he said c’mon bro it’s not as bad as cigarettes
