This family firm have been in operation for generations and take a real pride in what they do. Adam Oakley came to do the original assessment and followed up with guidelines of how George Bird conduct the move. There was a designated removal team who did the packing the day before the actual move (well worth it) and a larger team for the actual move. On both days, the crew arrived on a timely basis and were cheerful, and professional. With a special shout out to Hamish, Dan and Clive who were super efficient and did not stop until we were safely moved in. We would highly recommend George Bird Removals.

Adam Oakley was on time to assess what we were taking and made an inventory with minimum fuss. Within 90 minutes of his visit we had received this together with a clear breakdown of costs to carry out our move. Adam had given guidelines of how George Bird conduct the move, i.e., there would be a designated removal team who would pack on one morning and return the next to do the actual move. On both days, the crew arrived on a timely basis and were cheerful, respectful of us and our belongings and efficient. They worked non-stop, which was particularly helpful on the day of the move as we were under pressure to move out at the exact time of completion. The George Bird team were focused and without their commitment, we wouldn't have achieved that aim. There was no expectation that we would provide tea, coffee or snacks. The team agreed reluctantly to take one short break but the supervisor, Dan, soon had everyone back to work. There were no breakages. We highly recommend George Bird Removals. This family firm have been in operation for generations - we can see how they have done well in a difficult marketplace.
