I have been going to George and Dragon for many years. The bar service the past few times I have visited has been very slow. This was not helped yesterday by the lady serving behind the bar being on her phone with 3 customers waiting. No other bar staff were in sight. Ended up going to another pub rather than get a second drink. It's a shame because it's a nice pub and great for a summers evening drink.

Sadly we walked out after waiting a good 10 minutes trying to get served for drinks (and we weren't the only ones), obvious lack of bar staff and the poor guy behind the bar was trying to serve walk ins and restaurant orders, outside tables hadn't been cleared of empty glasses or dirty ashtrays and inside ones weren't wiped down of spillages
