Started automatic driving lessons with one of there instructors Mian Ali had 4 hours in 2 hour sessions and all he had me doing was turning left and continued to tell me even the lesson after we’d still be doing turning left before moving onto right turns. Put me very on edge and made me feel very nervous over his car, and not wanting me to touch the accelerator so going round and round the estate at 5-10mph Also wasted about 20 minutes getting to the estate he wanted to have me practice on when there is many quiet estates around my area. Told me there would be many things I would be doing before he’d even take me on the main roads etc I’ve had previous lessons in a manual so think it’s fair to say I know the basics considering I’ve just started with someone new and within 1 hour I’d done much more than turning left was driving on main roads and even doing roundabouts. Feel like money totally wasted and very let down.

First lesson was 2 h of driving straight with a few left turn, the instructor was into his phone when I was doing a turn on the roundabout. Absolutely no learning gained. Good 40 min of the lesson spent in traffic. Plus they are only after your money. signed me up for the next lesson automatically, and then trying to charge me for the lesson which I am not planning to take given the experience with the first lesson. Wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

I had my driving lessons with Mian Ali in Macclesfield as he was recommended to me by a friend of mine. I must say Ali is great instructor. He is very committed and professional in his job. He patiently teaches you the right way of driving and all the helpful tips and tricks. If you are a beginner or experienced driver and want to take driving lessons in the area, I highly recommend him.

I passed my driving test first time last week, and it's all thanks to Mian Ali. I'm a 50-year-old, I have had 2 other instructors before Geoff Capes, and I am definitely not an easy student to teach. But thanks to Mian's patience and clear instructions, I passed after only a handful of lessons. Mian thinks for the learner and understood my needs. I especially liked being given the independence to work things out for myself which helped my instincts kick in. Mian also has a great sense of humour, which made the lessons very enjoyable.
