Had an amazing stay at Genting. Was checked in by Kurtis who was so friendly and helpful. He was very welcoming and made us look forward to our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and a bonus is having resorts world nearby. We went shopping during the day and then went bowling with the kids in the evening. Everything was lovely and I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Really lovely hotel, the rooms are big and spacious, nice big bath towels and some nice toiletries! We had the option of having a walk in shower or bath with shower which was nice to have the option. Rooms come with a coffee machine and a selection of coffees and teas. Access to the spa is certain times depending what room you choose which we wasn't aware of! So check this before booking your room! Also our room didn't come with Robes which I think would be a nice touch if you get free spa access. I believe you can purchase Robes for £15 at the spa but I think this is a bit pricey! They do supply you towels in the spa though. All in all for the price and location I would say I was highly satisfied with my stay.

I checked into the Genting Hotel on Saturday 29th April 2023. My experience was dis made when I arrived at the location. I was travelling with my disable mother only to find out of the 2 service in the whole complex only 1 was working and caused a lot of havoc we to wait 5 times before we could enter the lift and even when we got into the lift it would stop at every single floor which caused issues to everyone. When we checked in the FOH team didn’t advise that we needed to book for the Sky restaurant on the 5th floor so when we came up for dinner we were turned away as we had no reservations. It’s not an ideally location for any disable people and the variety of shops and restaurants were very limited and not as per the website. The parking for the hotel was impossible to find and you have to pay £20 to keep your car parked over night which is ridiculous as your paying £200-300 pounds to stay at the resort when it should be included. Also during the night from 12am til 4am so much noise in the corridors where the rooms are and these people has no consideration to others staying at the resort. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you wanted a quiet and relaxing break.

Pay for parking which is understandable kind of…. But the limitations on the spa timing for hotel guests is a joke and they are very very strict with this !! They welcome paying extra for the spa even if you were not told about timing as it’s YOUR duty to ask and find out. ITS A BUSINESS I was told by the manager! Ridiculous ! Apparently other hotels in the vicinity have much better customer service.

Hotel was dated, carpets had seen better days. The outlook was dull and empty. All they need to do it put some nice plants to fill the vast boring space outside. The shower heads hadn't been cleaned in ages as there was black 😳 mould 🤑on the 2 heads. A cleaner just came into room in the morning without a knock! Luckily we were dressed and ready to leave. Surprised she didn't hear us talk! As for charging for dressing gown and slippers to go to extremely busy spa is a joke!
