I want to thank the team at Genie Tutors for helping not one, but both of my sons to pass the 11+ exam and gain places at Alcester Grammar School. Ben, Becky and the other tutors are simply excellent. Whilst they operate a small group tutoring format, the attention given to and personalisation of work for each of my sons was like having one to one tuition. Further, they are very open to working with parents to ensure the best outcomes. My older son was tutored in their normal classroom setting, however due to Covid and lockdown, my younger son was tutored online by Ben in a fantastic any highly interactive online classroom. Our daughter (coming up to GCSEs) has always been very academic and would hit top grades in everything but English / English Lit., in which she would pass but not excel. I was baffled by this and just accepted it was not possible to lift the grade (we know many bright children who have not even achieved a 5 in the new English GCSE). Ben from Genie changed all this. Tuition is in small groups, and every week when our daughter arrived there would be work specifically tailored to her needs. It has helped our daughter's confidence so much in English - she now understands how to get the higher grades. In 8 months her grade went from 6 to 8. A fantastic place for constructive learning. Each child is treated as an individual and their learning and support is coordinated accordingly. My daughter has attended English and maths and I cannot recommend enough. What can i say except a huge THANKYOU! My eldest son only went from Feb 2015-May 2015, when he sat his GCSE's. "A" grade achieved in his literature exams & "B" in his language, which would never of happened without the absolute dedication & motivation of Ben! Nothing was ever too much trouble, an individualised teaching plan tailored to my sons curriculum, exam board, texts & learning needs. Both my son and i wish we had discovered Ben & Genie earlier, hence my middle son in year 10 and youngest son, just starting year 3, have been going to Redditch Gennie Tutors since February too, my youngest for both English & Maths. Both boys receive individualised teaching\coaching pathways specific to their learning needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
