    The food was amazing. We bought Ackee & Saltfish dumplings, festivals, BBQ chicken and Jerk chicken with Rice and peas. (Cannot believe we forgot the Plantain). The Guinness punch was also nice. The food was delivered within 45 mins and was pipping hot (and given we live 20mins away, this is a HUGE plus). I am assuming nothing was microwaved either as everything tasted fresh and well-made. Look forward to ordering from you again!

    Food was nice but I paid £12 for a sauce sized pot of saltfish as a main. When I phoned to query it the guy on the phone acted clueless and said the boss would ring me but he never did even though I chased.

    I made my order approx 7.15pm… it gave me an estimated t of between 8.10 and 8.30. No problem Within 10 minutes the status changed to ‘on its way’ I was impressed as I am now under the impression my food would arrive early. So I’m waiting for my food patiently and it’s not coming. I know I have to wait till at least 8.30 based on delivery time. I don’t have an issue with that. It gets to 8.31pm and my food is still not here. So I have rang the shop. A gentleman picks up and says he has just got to the shop so he is not sure who took my delivery. He said give him a few minutes so he can check. I asked if he wanted to call me back. He said yes. I don’t have a problem with that as I appreciate him checking the order for me. I ring back 4-5 minutes later and a lady picks up the phone. No hello, no ‘gena gena’ how can I help you, nothing like that at all. She answered the phone by saying ‘yeah’ Bit surprised by that but I just explained the situation and her response was ‘yeah yeah yeah’ So I asked about my food and she said to me the delivery driver has about 3 orders and it’s not just mine. I said but my food has been on its way for about 50 minutes now and it’s past its delivery time and the status has now changed to delivered. She started shouting down the phone. I asked her why was she raising her voice and that as the customer I had a right to ask about my food. I again asked how long my food would be. And she continued to shout at me telling me she don’t know. I put the phone on loudspeaker at this moment so my wife could hear the way I was being spoken to. My wife then entered the conversation and asked for the order to be cancelled as we had waited far too long now. At this moment, the lady from Gena Gena put the phone down on us. We called back a few times after but the calls were not answered. My food did eventually turn up at approx 8.55pm. But one of the items ordered was missing. It’s a shame as the food was actually quite nice but as a result of the way I was spoken to, I would never order/buy from them again. I’m quite open minded and know things happen. But that does not justify the way I was spoken to and the obvious lack of customer service My order has been refunded by JustEat but that does not change my opinion on the terrible experience from this establishment

    Large curry goat w rice & peas. Boneless Jerk chicken w rice & peas. Kids jerk & chips. Mac & Cheese x 3 Plaintain x 2 My curry goat was average. Boneless jerk chicken? Had bones in it. Mac & Cheese was just pasta in a pot with a cheese sauce (tastless). This is not Jamaican Mac & Cheese. Overall this was average for us.
