STAY AWAY !!! Unfortunately my review is consistent with previous negative feedback of this Dance Academy and I am glad I pulled my daughter out of a hostile environment which is frankly based on 'clique' culture. Clear favoritism shown to parents / students with others ignored or shunned. The reviews all point to a much needed further probe into how this place is run as an establishment, I just wish I knew this before we joined. The low class numbers did raise my suspicions but regretfully had to subject my child to this environment and paid money for it. My experience of the owner - The owner is clearly not suited to running a business that focuses on children. Other reviews have cited the rudeness and unproffesional bullying approach of the owner - Do not subject your children to this - It is not surprising that parents continue to pull kids out of an environment which should be inclusive and fun. She is unsympathetic and inflexible - I was shocked when I read about emotional blackmail subjected to children but in my exchanges with her I am not surprised. We enrolled our daughter into Stagecoach after our experience here, Gem still chases for payment of lessons that were not attended despite us leaving months ago - deluded !!! I would urge anyone thinking about joining to read through the reviews before signing up - better to search for a more professional, safe and reputable organisation for your children.

Parents not allowed in the class and I’m not able to see how and what my shy child is doing. Wanted to take my 3 years old daughter to try if she feels comfortable, unfortunately she didn’t want to go back, but I was charged for the whole month. Tried to call them loads of times to confirm the time and date, as well as the free trial, to discuss everything as my daughter is not very social and is very shy, the did not answer a phone not a single time. It was complete waste.

Awful, our eldest daughter didn't like ballet so we stopped taking her as she didn't enjoy it, our youngest wanted to go so asked to sign her up to be told no as our eldest didn't like it. Every child is different, discrimination at its finest. Wouldnt recommend this place operated by a bunch of idiots

I'm actually shocked at this Academy, first time being there, there was no communication in with me they just took my daughter in the room, left her crying,she came out in a state like she was left there crying. There was no interaction with her at all. Being her first time there you would of thought they would explain what they was doing. I didn't even know I couldn't go in with her, she's only 2. Just in shock. Now she's scared everytime I say dance she crys
