    Never dealt with such an unprofessional bunch of cowboys ever. Total joke! Spent £1400 on 2 carpets and a vinyl and was left with a joint in 1 carpet that is horrendous. The company owner agreed that it was poor and agreed to rectify this then went back on his word and said there was no guarantee it would be better so they are not going to do it.

    Disappointing after sales. Last year we had carpets and laminate flooring from Gem. The carpets were another story! After a few days the beading began to peel, after contacting Gem we were told to glue it down. It is not yet 12 months old and the beading has gotten worse and the laminate in many places is chipping. The laminate sheets are not flush either by poor fitting or poor quality. The edges where they stick up are getting knocked and chipped, we informed Gem and sent photos as requested. The response was, its general wear and tear. If this is the expected wear after less than twelve months, I don't think it will last even 3 years. Throughout we had poor communication as there were delays, obviously Covid got the blame but after this response we will not be purchasing from Gem Carpets again.
