Shoutout to Kera, Raj and Claire - the dinner shift crew for the 25th of April. I have been dining at Gazette in Putney for the past two years, and I must say that my experience has been consistently delightful. The food is always superb, and the service is top-notch. I have dined at other locations of the franchise, but none have matched the level of customer service that I have received at Gazette in Putney. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure that my dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a restaurant that represents the best of the franchise, look no further than Gazette in Putney. I highly recommend it!

Superb! My friend and I had the menu du jour and it was truly wonderful. I have never tasted snails feuillete that were quite so good and our smoked haddock was cooked to perfection. The service was equally as good as the food, I don't know the names of the two waiters, but they were great.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU WANT A PLEASANT AMBIENCE I went to Gazette with my family and the wait staff and food were perfect. I thought the wait staff were very friendly and polite, even offering nice conversation and humour. I can't say the same for the manager at the time - a man in his late 40s with grey/white hair. He was snobby and condescending, and the staff seemed to lose their charm and charisma after talking to him. It's a shame to see such attentive and lovely staff so mistreated.

Food was nice, service was not. I called up in advance to ask if dogs were allowed. Over the phone, it was 'yes'. However, upon arrival, the manager was less than welcome. He pulled a long face. I was 'ordered' to 'put' my dachshunds in the corner and the finger-pointing was rude. There was already1 large and 1 small dog at the restaurant, so mine was not alone. My dogs did not bark, run around or annoy other diners. My daughter ordered an orange juice, and staff No1 left, nothing, she then asked the manager, and he did not even bother to acknowledge my daughter's question, we then asked staff No 2, no result. Eventually, while we were having our mains, staff No 1 returned to tell us that orange juice was unavailable. Oh dear, No juice for a premise that serves breakfast. Any way. My 94-year-old mother had a small mug of hot water and we were charged 50p for that. As I was local, I ate at the Putney branch regularly, post Covid, the team has changed and so has the service. Maybe it's my bad luck and caught the manager on a bad day, but never again. Dont want to pay for a service with an extremely bad attitude. In my opinion, the manager may benefit from a refresher course on customer service, no service with a smile is fine, but do not put on an attitude towards customers. You can be rude to a customer, but the other customers can see what's going on. Wonder, how this will reflect on your professional reputation?
