I contacted Gavin in the winter of 2022, on the recommendation of a friend for whom Gavin had made a bespoke engagement ring. My request was similar, and would incorporate a stone that had been left to me by my grandmother. Gavin took the time to understand the value of the stone and not just monetarily, before suggesting designs and styles that would work best to highlight the characteristics of the stone itself in a unique design specifically for us. Gavin is an artist, a truly talented craftsman, and a gentleman. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Almost impossible to say how impressed we were with Gavin. We had searched the high street for wedding rings and nothing seemed quite right. Gavin was recommended by a friend and he saw us very quickly. We didn't really have much of a clue as to what we were after but after talking through options we made a decision to have bespoke, etched rings made. We also didn't have too much time before the wedding so timing was crucial. At our first fitting we changed our minds! The first fitting is before any work is actually done - it's to make sure the rings fitted and they looked so beautiful as they were that other than the diamonds I was having in mine, we had them as they were. As Gavin said - we can always have the etching done later if we choose to. So may wonderful comments about the rings at the wedding. Couldn't recommend Gavin Mack Jewellery highly enough.

It was to be an exact replica of his late-father’s and as an added bonus, Gavin was able to offer an engraving of his fathers signature on the reverse of the ring.
