Used to be decent but Gaucho seems to have lost its way. It no longer feels like a special experience. The confirmation that the company is no longer focused on being a top end steakhouse is that the menu now seems to care more about how sustainable they are than about the meat being served and that the brownie was served with vegan ice cream - which is foul. I would rather gaucho concentrate on what made them great and cut the virtue signalling.

I celebrated my birthday in Gaucho Charlotte street and they make me a really special day. From the warm welcome, thank you Annalisa,who make me feel like a princess guided me to the table,to the amazing service Sofia,Ami and Kiara looking for details and making the magic. I can not forget to talk about the food,to die for and tha amazing cocktails and wine. What can I say?? I can no wait to come back.

Lovely restaurant classy but relaxed with a touch of sophistication. The combination of light browns and ochre natural materials on the walls and dark ceiling is very accomplished. Dark green velvety chairs are very comfortable. There are also bar areas where you could have a drink while they're getting your table ready. We had the steak tartare as starter and sirloin as a main. All good quality as expected, well cooked and presented. The gaucho dessert a fiiting end to a good meal. It was unusally busy for a Thursday night we were told, and perhaps a tad loud. The staff were very helpful and friendly though, considering they were understaffed on the night, which clearly showed on the waiting times between dishes. However, they were very professional and overall saved the night.
