Really impressed with Gassed Up Heating / Dan and the quality of service we received. Our new house had an old clunky Potterton boiler nearly 25 years old so with the increasing energy prices we needed an efficient upgrade. I did a bit of research and got some quotes from local companies then had Dan highly recommended to us by a friend who had used him. He quoted all the same well known brands as well as the unknown (to us) Atag. It came in well under the known Worcester, Vaillant, Viessmann etc. but with a reassuringly higher parts and labour warranty of 12 years. We we’re still a bit dubious so did some more research and it seems Atag are big in Europe and couldn’t see any genuine bad reviews with some UK plumbers even saying the known brands have been living off their name and Atag were now leading the way with higher efficiencies of +98% and better reliability. We took the gamble and went for the Atag and so far have not been disappointed. We’ve had the fuel price hike since and our bills have definitely been lower than expected, we’ve noticed how much quieter it is and more importantly with 2 young children it heats up the radiators really quickly. Back to the installation; Dan worked really clean and tidily with everything properly sheeted up so no mess and as we needed a power flush with our old sludgy system he decided to bring in a colleague to carry out the power flush whilst he cracked on with the installation, which was perfect for us as it cut down the scheduled 2 days work to 1 long day. Overall we’re really impressed with Gassed Up Heating’s service, their competitive pricing and our shiny new (much quieter) efficient boiler. Like our friend we would also highly recommend them👍🏼
