Absolutely amazing service from Garretts. After an accident, I went through my insurance company to find a local bodywork repairer. Garretts were the only company locally who could offer a repair within a matter of a few weeks (other companies were telling me they had no availability to take my car on at all.) Garretts went out of their way to take my car in as early as possible, they collected it at the time arranged, they kept me in touch with the status of the repair, and the job was done and the car returned within two weeks of the start date. The car was returned to my home and in excellent condition - it literally looks like a new car. So pleased I chose Garretts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again, should I need to. I had a Ford Fiesta Vignale and they gave me a Toyota Aygo, which barely got to 50mph without nearly blowing up, the heating didn't work, the windscreen was so dirty that I could barely see out of it when another car's headlights hit me. It also took them an extra week to get me an automatic. I was waiting for about an hour before they asked me what was wrong with the car and showed me my loan car.

The repair was a hustle between the insurance company and the Bodyworks shop. Even when they manage to take my Range Rover 2021 sport, after two weeks of complaining that I need a vihcle to make my day to day run for me abd my family, then I was given Toyota Iris which was very small and hardly suit to carry my family, in addition, I forgot my home key in the car that was given to me and when I call the shop, they said they will give me a call back, no call back. I have to force myself to keep calling just to get a bit of info of my belongs to the shop. I do not ever wish to use them again. The service is so poor. If I can I will rate them Zero star for their poor customer service.

I left the car to paint the passenger door, they took pictures of the car from all sides before I left. After a week I picked up the car, the doors were painted but the passenger side wiper was about 3-4 inches higher than its normal position. I only noticed it when I was driving home. I turned back to workshop; losing extra 20 minutes when I came back I said to them that the wiper was not in the normal position and asked them to set it lower - it would take about 2 minutes as all you had to do was unscrew the screw and set the wiper and screw it back on. They started to argue with me that no one touched the wipers and it was like that from the beginning, I asked to show me a photo, they showed me a photo on the computer and the wiper was in its normal position and not as it is now. They continued to argue that they had done nothing further, and it just happened when I was driving home. Complete arrogance, besides my car had over 2 miles more, they said they were just driving around the yard, a complete lie. Only the staff behind the desk were ok, while I spoke to the mechanic about it he stated being argumentative , it was a skinny older blond man who was pathetic who tried to convince me that it happened after I left. They just didn't want to admit that when painting the door, they had to protect the rest of the car from painting and moved the wiper by force with dust sheets or hand and instead of fixing the mistake when I arrived, they started lying and telling me that they hadn't done anything. If such a situation happened in another country in Europe, this mechanic would no longer work. Pathetic service. Service: Painting
