My husband and I bought a flat of antique silverware from Garrards in 1985. I recently sent them an email asking for a current appraisal. No response. I called and ended up listening to the phone ring and ring. Called back and got a salesperson who said that Garrard no longer sells antique silverware and she had no suggestions as to where I could get an appraisal.
