Garrads were sent to me by my insurance company to sort out my entries after a fire. If I could rate them a 0 I would. These unprofessional people left a live wich i had made several complaints to sedwick who were supposed to be dealing with and Garrads had the nerve to say that everything was done and completed up to standards. I got 3 electricians in and all of them said this was really bad practice and extremely dangerous. I have now escalated the situation to my insurance company who are also to blame for working with such unprofessional people who know nothing about health and safety. Avoid them with all costs. We had a leak in the kitchen, which following a conversation with our insurers, resulted in the appointment of Garrards to repair and replace the kitchen. The teams sent were all professional, friendly, polite and punctual, different people for different jobs; eg repair drywall, take out flooring and cabinets, lay new floor, fit kitchen, fit counters etc. All of this was co-ordinated by Alex and Pat at Garrards who were happy to give good advice too, the kitchen looks great again and I’ve told a few friends what a great job Garrards did when they’ve visited and seen it. I’d definitely use them again. Completely unprofessional lack of after sales service. I had an issue after installation and Garrards tried everything to get out of honouring warranty- including claiming that the warranty was not documented. No respectable builder would ever make that claim. I shall be passing my feedback to the insurance company so that they don’t use this unprofessional outfit again.
