After reading previous reviews, I only wish that I could share a similar experience. Sadly, my experience with Gardiners has been very disappointing. Based on their name and reputation, I chose here to have my engagement ring reset back in June 2021. As a present for my 30th wedding anniversary, I waited eagerly anticipating my new ring. After a long wait of 8 weeks, I got the call to collect. Imagine my face when I received it to try on in store and discovered that it had been made 4 sizes too small!! I was gutted, especially when no apology came nor any attempt to explain what had happened. I was assured that the ring would be resized with a completely new shank, in the correct size. So, I waited, giving them an opportunity to redeem their mistake. A few weeks later, I collected my 'repaired' ring and finally got to wear my 3-stone emerald and diamond ring set in platinum. The stones are beautiful and the gallery setting is gorgeous. Around a month ago, I was washing my hands when I heard a metallic 'ping' noise, only to see that my repaired ring had snapped and a tiny piece of metal lay in the sink!! I was horrified, now realising that this was clear evidence that it had actually only been pieced!! Again I went into the store, told and showed what had happened. I got an apology and an assurance that they would sort this straight away and that they 'couldn't explain' why this had happened. Two weeks later I returned to collect my ring and guess what? It had been given a new shank ... 4 sizes too small, AGAIN!!! I was in a state of disbelief and felt physically sick. The look of horror on the staff member's face said everything. I expressed my anger and had to bite back the tears, if I'm being honest. I collected my now correctly sized ring today, almost 2 years after I first ordered it and it is beautiful. Sadly, I'm now nervous to wear it and have trouble trusting the repair has been done competently. That feeling makes me very angry and what should have been a special occasion, wasn't. I asked for some kind of compensation for all of the distress and undeniable incompetence on display and was offered to have my ring cleaned anytime, free of charge. Seriously? What an insult and appalling customer service. I am disgusted and regret ever stepping through their door. As a customer I feel very upset, dismissed and my feelings were most definitely not acknowledged or considered during this entire debacle. The business operates under the Gardiners name but is now owned by 2 brothers, who, based on my experience, clearly have much to learn and don't seem concerned about their reputation. For me, this has been nothing but an unmitigated disaster from start to finish and I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I am loving my latest gift of a stunning sapphire and diamond ring. I was originally going for a 3 stone but Michael asked me to try the cluster and boy was he right. Love love love ❤️❤️
