    I have used this cafe on and off for years. It is in a garden centre. The garden centre has grown in size and so has the cafe. We (three of us) called in for a drink and a sandwich. The drinks were fine but the sandwiches were not at all good. We ordered two tuna sandwiches and one cheese.All three sandwiches were made with very small slices of bread, possibly a child’s portion. The two tuna sandwiches had very little in the way of tuna. In fact, part of my sandwich had no tuna at all. My bread was also slightly crunchy as if it had been under a heat lamp or in an open bag for some time. Overall the sandwiches would have made the old British Rail sandwich look like a banquet fit for a king. Neither of the tuna sandwiches were finished. Not up to the usual standard which we have experienced many times in the past.

    We were coming here for a while for a coffee and never do I ever complain! but today we had a milkshake and cake and it was awful!! Really over priced for what we got. The milkshakes were just like milk with no flavour in them only half filled. I got an ice-cream and it tasted like cardboard!!! Will not be returning to the cafe £25+ down the drain :(

    We had high expectations of this restaurant having visited previously, albeit a few years ago. It was very busy, we thought that was a good sign! Our order consisted of - a veggie carvery, vegan burger and sausage, egg,chips and peas. The vegan burger had obviously come from a box of cheap vegan burgers and was wafer thin. It was really burnt too. It came with chips. At £10 it was the most expensive of our meals. My dad had the sausage meal. This consisted of 1 egg, a handful of chips, 2 sausages with a scattering of peas. This was approximately 8/9 pounds. I had the veggie carvery. Whilst there was plenty of selection it wasn't tasty, the Yorkshire pudding was stodgy and the vegetables were overcooked. My son had to change the cutlery 3 times because it was still dirty. This is only our review and it was really busy but we won't ever eat there again. On a plus, we didn't have any. The puddings looked amazing!
