Nightmare to work with – seriously, stay away This company is a disaster to work with. Please stay away unless you have the time, patience and energy of a Saint to deal with them. Over a year ago, I ordered an electric roller garage door and paid deposit, the door was supposed to arrive in 3 months but did not arrive until 6 months late and it was after numerous phone calls and emails. When the door finally arrived, it took the engineers 4 attempts and 2 months to eventually fit it. After the gate was installed, it could not open properly, it only opens and tilts half way from the ground – the engineer said it is just the way it is and we have to live with it. Now the electric gate is not working anymore – we cannot even close it, so I have the door wide open to the street, welcoming anyone at any time into my garden. I called the company immediately and explained the situation asking if they can send someone to fix it and I was told no – they cannot send any engineer any time soon because the engineers don’t work for the company -with no apology or what so ever. I guess it is partially my fault as when I saw the name ‘Garage Door Discounts’ I didn’t realise the discount is actually reflected on the quality of their produce and service, not the price.
