So, a bit of mixed review this time round I've been here maybe 7 or 8 times over the past 5 years or so, and I noticed this time round everything was not quite right. The was very average and portions sizes of the mains in my eyes are a little too small. Yes, im a big eater, but for what you pay, it's not right. The sided just didn't have the flavour. Maybe nothing changed, and maybe other restaurants have stepped up, but I can't rate it more than a 3 star We got chatting to a lovely old couple in the life when we were leaving, and they also said the same thing the food just didn't seem up to par I also found the menu a little boring with not enough on offer I requested a window seat on the booking but once again never got it I found this disappointing and the couple that came after me had a choice of two window tabled so wouls of been nice to of been given a option to wsitnfor a table to be free Not sure if I would return again, but if you have never been, i would say maybe give it a go at least once

Absolutely excellent!! We took our three year old, because we are from out of town and didn’t have a sitter, for my wife’s birthday. We had a slightly earlier reservation (18:15) because of this and it was an amazing experience for all three of us. First off they brought our daughter a small bag of toys to enjoy… which she did! Usually about midway through our meal we have to get her iPad out to keep her seated. Not on this night. The iPad never came out. The staff knew she was their most important guest and I didn’t realize it at the time but they were 100% correct. It allowed my wife to enjoy her experience to the fullest without worrying about a toddler meltdown or outburst. The food and wine didn’t disappoint either. The sommelier immediately noticed me browsing the wine list and came over to offer his suggestion, and specials for the night, based on our entrée selections. My wife had the sea bass, I had the lamb and our daughter had the children’s chicken. All of it was incredible. My wife and I both had the Jerusalem artichoke soup to start and then the chocolate & dulche de leche, caramelized & lime ice cream to finish. All of it was cooked and prepared to perfection. Overall it was an incredible experience!

Was MUCH better a few years ago, food was good, service was average. I told them it was my partners birthday requested a nice table and was put in a corner next to already seated tables at 7.30pm, there wasn’t even a candle brought with dessert, very disappointing

I moved birthday celebration to the Coranation day. Requested to have a nice table next to the window. They ignored that. Service was poor. Nobody came to top up glasses with wine. Place is outdated with carpets and old chairs. No atmosphere. Menu was absolutely horrible. I've never had such a testless course meal in my life. Cold eggs, really? It looked even disgusting. As an apologie they just brought the same complimentary starters. Birthday was ruined. We didn't even try to have main meal. For this money it's not worth it at all. We were disappointed and just left. Probably will never come back.
