Truly dreadful dire experience, a total waste of my time, many many serious blunders, eg: key information was forgotten & not sent off for 6 months!!! - and only sent off to correct party when I discovered the error. Another example, GALOP told me that court transcripts were not available to me when in fact they are. This screwed up my case as key information that I could have accessed was missing. GALOP took no responsibility made the most flimsy of excuses by blaming a colleague sitting opposite, made no apology - but instead closed my case (without telling me) and posted my files to me, thanks GALOP. Following a brief email from me to GALOP asking what is going on I received the most patronising phone call from Nick, who i understand is one of the managers, this was an exercise in extreme passive aggression, but well done Nick for choosing not reply by email, it's always best to not leave any documented evidence. I note GALOP have expanded recently both office space and staff and it strikes me that this once wonderful ethical organisation have become no more than professional Fund Grabbers, making lots of £££ money for themselves but at the expense of us, the very people who need support.
