  Great company and people to work with! Very competitively priced and the attention to detail from all the trades was remarkable. We've had no issues at all either during or after the build (save for a small plumbing leak during installation that was turned around and fixed in 20 mins!). With special thanks to Kelly for managing everything and seeing that all went to plan and schedule and to Nick for an excellent design that optimised the availabe space we had and fitted our requirements exactly. Special thanks also to Geri, Ryan and Christian, the principle builders and craftsmen all highly skilled and quick at what they do and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Thanks also to Owain and Jack (tilers), Mark + 3 (plasterers, didn't get all their names, sorry!), Mark and Josh (sparkies), Sean and Emma (leakies), Carl and "Smurf" (roofers), the "Mastic Man" and even both scaffolding teams who were also quick, friendly and efficient. We have no hesitation giving all of these guys and the company overall our highest recommendation. If you're even just thinking about having a conversion done to your property, get them round to see what they can do - they may even come up with things you hadn't thought about and that could be the decision maker if you're still 'sitting on the fence'!

  I am a bit late completing this review but it's no reflection on how happy we are with the work undertaken. We are really pleased with our loft conversion by Gallery and want to give a special shout out to Geri, Ryan and the team who completed it for us. They were honestly the best bunch of guys to have in your home, friendly, down to earth and nothing was too much trouble. The work was completed on time and with minimal disruption to us and we love the end result. Nick and Kelly were really helpful from the start and it was lovely having the whole project taken care of from planning to completion. Thanks again everyone, from the Marshalls.

  Gallery has carried out a large loft conversion on my property, taking it from a small bungalow into a fantastic house. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Management and work force were always very polite and approachable, any issues that arose, which should be expected on a project of this size were swiftly resolved. They have taken our visions and dreams and made them into a reality and I would recommend them very highly, we could not have done it without them.

  Kelly and team recently finished a dorma loft conversion at our property. We are more than pleased with our new space, the team have created our dream home and couldn’t have asked for a higher quality finish! They have transformed our property and enabled us to use the space to its fullest and enjoy the amazing view. The team are all very knowledgeable, friendly, and were happy to talk through any ideas we had throughout the build. The quality of the workmanship is incredible and we have had many compliments since. I would not hesitate to recommend Gallery, they are a truly fantastic team as a whole and the quality of work really shows!

  We first contacted Gallery for our loft conversion project in August 2021. Initial communications was with Kelly Lane. She promptly provided us with two detailed comprehensive quotations based on our design ideas. We chose to proceed with Gallery due to their competitive pricing and they have completed a number of projects in North Cardiff where we live. Therefore we have seen first hand the quality of their work walking around our area. The project was scheduled to begin in October 2022, which we were happy to proceed with. However, earlier that year our daughter was diagnosed with a serious illness. We required the work to begin sooner so that the building work would not interfere with her treatment. After discussing this with Kelly, without hesitation she managed to amend her incredibly busy schedule to accommodate an earlier start date of August 2022. Weeks before the beginning of the project, Nick provided us with drawings and contributed some great ideas towards the design. We then met with Kelly prior to the start date.. She was very professional and courteous with the personality to match. She gave us a thorough breakdown of what to expect. From timescales of the project, to colours of door handles. Once the building work commenced we were allocated Geri and Ryan to lead the project. We’ve never come across such skilled hard working builders. Always arrived promptly to the house at 8am and by 8:15 you could hear the tools going. That was only because we slowed them down with coffee’s on arrival. The work ethic of those men is second to none. They would only stop working for lunch. Even then, they stayed on site. We couldn’t believe the speed in which they had the structure of the hip to gable rear dormer built and water tight. Within two and a half weeks was mind boggling. Always cleaned up after themselves which was hugely appreciated due to the nature of our daughters illness. The project was in fact less invasive than we thought it would be. Certainly exceeded our expectations. Throughout the process Kelly was always on the other end of the phone keeping us updated with next steps and checking we were happy. Having Kelly keep us in the loop was so helpful. Her customer service is up there with the best we’ve experienced. Especially due to the fact our priority at the time was caring for our daughter. When it comes to projects like this what most people consider a nightmare, Kelly and her team made this a pleasure. No question about it, we would certainly consider Gallery Construction and Loft Conversions for any future projects.

  We decided to think about a loft conversion back in 2020 and approached several local companies. Gallery weren't the cheapest but they were in the ballpark of the others. We chose Gallery because we really liked the proposed design and they talked with confidence. With the pandemic and delays with the local planning department we eventually started the construction in August 2022 and completed in early December. Communication before the project started wasn't as forthcoming as I would have liked and I admit I was nervous with proceeding with Gallery but there was no need! We had a full raised ridge loft conversion to add 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The team that gallery sent to look after our house were fantastic. They worked so quick and discussed progress with us daily and were very friendly too! It was worrying when we had no roof and then an unfinished roof for a period of time in very wet weather but a quick message on a Friday night and Kelly (the owner) put our minds at rest and she asked someone to check on us on the Saturday. Towards the end of the project, the final touches were taking time to organise but the end product is amazing. It's made such a difference to our house (and our lives!) and everyone who sees it says Wow :) It's worth having just for the view! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Gallery Lofts

  ** If you are planning a loft conversion, please check the condition of your roof first ** We had a Velux loft conversion completed by Gallery Loft Conversions, but discovered a slow leak next to one of our Velux windows close to completion. Despite never having a leak previously in our loft, we discovered that our roof was in a poor condition and would need to be completely replaced. A cost we did not include in our budget. As for Gallery Loft Conversions, we would rate them a 3*. Attention to detail lacked overall (door trim put on backwards, skirting boards loose or not attached, nails protruding in woodwork, silicone used in-between wood rather than wood filler). Most issues were rectified once we expressed our concerns, however some we have had to rectify ourself or cannot be altered. We had a disagreement with the Managing Director on two separate issues: the leak and the cost for extra work (namely replacing our existing banister for it to match the new staircase/banister). We felt there was a lack of professionalism on occasions and that communication became poor once work began on our property and after work was completed. It almost felt that us raising issues and expressing our disatisfaction tarnished our relationship with the MD. At time of writing, we are still waiting on a response since 7th March 2022 to see if the work is under warranty. We are not disappointed and neither are we satisified with our loft conversion. The standard of finish along with the lack of professionalism would unfortunately indeed affect us recommending Gallery Loft Conversions to a friend. We wish we had an inspection on the condition of our roof before we planned a loft conversion and that we had a few quotations from other loft companies for comparison. The standard of finish by Gallery Loft Conversions most definitely needs to be improved and hopefully by writing a honest review changes will be made on future projects.

  I called the company today having recently moved into a house where they installed a loft conversion in 2017. The work is still under warranty and I am having issues with a leaking gutter as the roof felt is blocking it. The only way to describe the phone call with the company was very hostile. The lady said that they did not touch the front roof when I know that the entire roof felt was replaced. She simply refused to believe me and was beyond rude in her tone and manner. I only called on the off chance to see if they could help and the cold attitude took me completely off guard. I ended the call and had another roof company round who confirmed that the felt had been shoddily fitted (causing the gutter issue). They also cleaned half a bin bag of building rubbish that had been left in the gutter (causing the issue). Thankfully there are no issues with the loft conversion itself but I can say for certain that even if there were issues I’d have a tough time getting any help. The 5 year warranty is in my view worthless.
