The food is lovely but I’ve been there twice now and both times the service has not been pleasant. 1st time we had a put a deposit down and had to be cash so had to arrange to go over there when it was open to drop it off, I saw them write in the diary when the deposit was paid, yet when it came to the bill at the end of the night they refused to take the deposit off unless I could provide a paper receipt of the deposit. Which just slipped my mind to bring. 1. I couldn’t have booked the table without it. 2. They should have it on their records that they received this cash from me. 3. We don’t exactly look the type to be trying to scam them. Second time was a few days ago, and they were constantly clock watching and chasing us to make a decision on our main order because they had another table book after us. We felt like they were clock watching us and chasing us up to order our drinks, order food and eat it, trying to take our plates away before we’d finished. And we only had mains! How can we enjoy an evening where we wanted to enjoy a dinner and a catch up? There were only 4 of us, we weren’t late, and they even had the cheek to ask if we wanted a drink, then they brought the drinks out with the bill and reminded us we had to be out in 5-10 mins
