Good selection of baked goods and nice coffee. Always busy but service is generally quick and the staff are very friendly. It is pricey , especially if you’re sitting in. And there’s not a lot of seating choices. Perfect for picking up a coffee and a croissant!

First visit to this branch in Clapham. I have given 2 star because their customer service is no great, there are too many staff in one small area, hugging each other and chatting, instead of meeting customer needs. I will stick with Gail’s in Balham, their customer service is excellent, and they deliver your drinks to your table too!

Great food and coffee - poor customer experience… paid for ‘eat in’ which means you still have to wait with everyone else for your coffee and food. You get a China cup and plate but no cutlery so may as well just take away. Apparently it’s down to staff ratios.

Lovely place to have a little break. We enjoyed our chai latte and a sausage roll and salmon roll. Service was correct. It’s a shame that Gail’s are selling bread at gold’s price. Or they are getting an outstanding profit or they are having the most expensive suppliers… anyway. We are lot locals anymore but if we were, we wouldn’t go very often…

I was in the neighborhood and was on my way to the bus stop when torrential rain happened and it was raining for a while. Popped in to Gail; and grab coffee and a pastry.. Staff are friendly and had a interesting conversation with one of the staff, that she never tried the almond chocolate croissant. It's a cute cafe with outdoor seating on the backside and right in front the bakery is a fire station. Sat there and enjoyed show when the firemen was practicing the fire alarm drill ..or whatever you want to call it. This cafe allowed dogs inside as well. Walking distance to tube station in 10min and various bus stops.
