First of all it's very,very expensive, £5 + a loaf that is sooo incredibly tough not even my bread knife can go through it without force...what a shame !!...better if going to the Jewush deli on Gants Hill, Cholla, Rye, black bread outstanding.... Gail's in George lane (same)..people go in there and sit for AGES on there laptops, using the place like an office. How they name money eludes me

Usually love this place but the staff were not very friendly today. Felt extremely rushed and rolled her eyes at a misunderstanding. A very impersonal and cold service today. Went upstairs to eat but all the tables were so dirty. Even the lady cleaning up looked like it was the last place she wanted to be. Really killed the whole vibe. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.

Nice coffee and bibs and bobs to eat but completely non-existent service! In the photo I posted here half the clutter you see in that table was initially in ours from previous customers but no one bothered to come and collect it. The other half was already there so we moved all the dirty plates and utensils from our table over to that one. I find it so disappointing when a place has service that is so subpar, as it can really turn some people off, and doesn't do justice to the good food and drink it actually offers. 3 people were behind the bar but none bothered to relieve us from the clutter so we could enjoy our coffee and snacks. Ultimately, a waiter came after 30 minutes and cleaned the table! It was unbelievable to see such bad service in London in 2023. The Loughton branch is much better!

Lovely location and reasonable ish decour inside but overpriced for the food and service you get. Some of the staff can barely communicate with customers and are often slow to seve anyone. There are much better coffee shops/Eateries in the wanstead area.

This is by far my favourite branch and that’s because of the service I receive there. They have the best staff who always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Yola, in particular always greets me with the warmest smile and sincerest compliments. Aiden makes the best coffee I’ve ever tasted, I always look forward to having my latte when I know he’ll be the one making it. Can’t rave about this place enough. It truly is a gem 💎
