Very disappointed, I recently went to Gail’s and the lady there ignored my friend who was trying to order and if that wasn’t bad enough, the man making my coffee put soured, chunky milk in my coffee. Would not go again.

Highly recommend to avoid and save your money. Went to Gail’s for brunch. Staff forgot half the order, and a young woman came over and made us go to the till to prove we paid for it. Incredibly rude and disorganised. Handed us the porridge with no apology - congealed and lumpy at 11am. Just really an unpleasant experience. Cafe totally not equipped to meet demand. £24 for two coffees (one cup half full), a bowl of porridge and a tiny portion of baked eggs with a slice of bread. We got a part refund as unhappy about paying that price for such a rubbish experience and food. Just an overpriced, lazy chain and given by the other reviews, Gail’s don’t care enough to make any changes. Won’t be coming back.

It used to be my favorite place. But as it goes the service is becoming extremely rude and ignorant. And the coffee… well I have now to buy it elsewhere 🤮

It would have been 5 stars, the coffee and cakes are excellent but people serving food should have long hair tied back. We were also given a dirty serving tray.

First time ever at Gail’s and I wish I had been in sooner. Lovely staff and amazing food. Ella was very helpful on helping us decide on what to eat (highly recommend the Parmesan Chicken burger and the chicken, chestnut and bacon hand pie). If you haven’t been you must go in and try it for yourself !

Ridiculous prices, no skimmed milk, don't heat up anything. Not for me. Just received Standard reply from Gail's saying they want to take a closer look.. OK. Gail's. Here goes closer look for you.. Visit 12.30ish Friday 24th.. requested skimmed milk in Capachino. Answer we don't do that semi skimmed... my Capachino which as we had sat down as we were waiting was left getting cold at the end.. no one said it would be there .. no one brought it to my table no-one offered ! 0 points so far . When asking about the food. Lots of things that looked nice but all cold.. no they don't warm anything up or serve hot well at £5.80 for a quiche or £4.80 for a spinach and something roll.. I wouldn't have thought it wasnt too much too ask. Prices are way too expensive evidenced by half empty at peak lunch time. Service is poor.. and coffee is not up to scratch.. I frequent coffee shops, restaurants and cafes on a regular basis and this branch of this chain doesn't cut it for me.. on my review status. Avoid. ( There you go Gail's enough of a closer look for you)

My girlfriend & I popped into Gail's Guildford last weekend, and although it was incredibly busy (It was a Saturday), the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. Special mention has to go to our server Jax, she had a constant smile, was incredibly lovely to us and pointed us to the last available seating! In addition to that, her buns were moist and delicious. Speaking of food, the blueberry muffins were top notch, as were the ham & cheese croissant and smoked salmon bagel. 10/10 would eat again.

Well I do love Gail's cinnamon bun and granola bowl, but the service are sometimes rather rude/careless. Once I asked for eat in when ordered yet the cashier literally gave me the bun packed in a takeaway bag, after I asked to eat in again she put that BAG right on my plate...Of course while doing this I got no smile or apologize. 4/5 for the buns 2/5 for the server
