The staff are friendly, security and safety as strong as always, and the layout of area by vehicle manufacturer remains helpful, since I last ventured over there about 1/3rd of the yard has been put to storage/use of building materials, and it feels like there has been an increase of space for large lorries turning. Sadly this reduces the room for stock they can hold. I'm really hoping this won't be a permanent feature or that the land is slowly being turned over to industrial/storage use, as whilst my visits are sparce, my purchases small, this is my favourite scrap yard, and along with the cost of fuel, workforce vs scrap value for metal, and dismantling hybrid & electric being specialised, I hope this isn't a sign that we will be losing G&R Harris anytime soon

I always come here for my VW parts, to the point the staff say "caddy? You know where they are" I have been coming here since I trained as a mechanic back in 2004, really reasonable on prices and helpful staff if I have forgotten a specific tool. Don't forget your high viz top and get lost in a maze of parts 👍
